The three towns of Tredegar, Rhymney and Ebbw Vale sit at the head of the Gwent valleys on the fringe of the Brecon Beacons. The towns were all an important part of the Industrial Revolution in South Wales. Each town has its own Catholic church – Immaculate Conception in Tredegar, All Saints at Ebbw Vale and St Johns, Rhymney. These three churches were united as one Pastoral area in 2012.

On behalf of the parishioners I am very pleased to welcome you to our website.

In this day and age the first visit to a church is often through the doorway of the World Wide Web. In response to this we have prepared a snapshot of the parish in its daily life and activities. For this reason we have posted a copy of our newsletter and a brief overview of the many groups, societies and sodalities which make us what we are.

In the planning of this website our main aims could be summarized in four words: Christlike, interesting, helpful and informative. I hope you enjoy our website and find we have been successful. We look forward to welcoming you to our church one day.
Every Blessing.
